WELCOME TO METROPOLIS

Inspired by cold-weather construction technology, and designed by world-renowned architects, METROPOLIS, will fill Sir Winston Churchill Square from December 31, 2011 through Family Day, February 20, 2012. Four free-standing structural forms lit with LED lighting will transform Sir Winston Churchill Square into a futuristic wintertime city.

A variety of activities including winter food, music, live entertainment, will be offered. The upper interior space of the sculptural forms will feature an artistic, multi-media light show using 21st century new media.
